Abatin 1.8 EC
Abatin 1.8 ECis a natural fermentation product of the soil bacterium Streptomyces avermitilis that contains abamectin as active ingredient, and is used to control insect and mite pests of fruit, vegetable and field crops. Abatin 1.8 EC, an insecticide and acaricide, works on insects by stimulating the release of g-aminobutyric acid, an inhibitory neurotransmitter, thus causing paralysis of insect body.
Mood of action: Abatin 1.8 EC acts mainly by ingestions as well as has contact and translaminar activity in which the active ingredient passes into the leaf tissue forming a toxic reservoir of Abamectin helps continuing to kill pests as they feed on the mespphyll tissue of leaves. Ingestion of Abatin 1.8 EC results in rapid paralysis and subsequent death of insect and mite pests.
